 Problems 1, When I run this Checker, my intranet server was broght down, I am not sure if it was caused by this program.2, if a link called with a parameter it was list as a broken linkfor example, employee.cfm?emp_id=1, if you call this page in another page providing an emp_id, it works fine, but if you open it directly then it will fail.Overroll, I like this program. I wonder if you have experenced the above problem and have any sugestions.Thank you.Alex

I am experiencing difficulties accessing Gmail and I used your tool to try to identify and resolve the problem. The answer I received was: "error 404- the link does not exist". In other words I am at exactly the same point I was before downloading your program.
nice tool.helped us a lot to check spellings and broken links
 Reporting is indeterminate Unfortunately, I wasn't able to produce a report that was useful. Even after setting various reporting options regarding recursion and levels of nesting, the output was a simple one or two liner suggesting a broken link, but no details or URL for the broken link.

very simple, yet very easy Simple link checker, I run it once a day, takes me 10 seconds. There are a few issues I would like to see fixed. The first is that it seems to check certain domains more than once. This may be due to frames or whatever, but I would like to see this listed only once, or perhaps a better description of why the domains were checked 4 times. The second is that I would like a "String1" OR "String2" option. The third may be an issue with a particular site, but when accessing one of my trade's sites, it asks me if ...

 One of the best website analysis tools around I tried many programs like this and I think this one is the best. It handles authentication correctly which about half of the tools out there do not. It is good at detecting errors on certain web pages and finding orphaned files. My only complaint is that the interface could be better. I like the view that you see while the website is being crawled as opposed to the view after that completes, but even then there is no good way to launch a web page that has been marked with an error. Perhaps this is possible from the HTML ...
